2nd Annual Conference PDF Print E-mail

Dear Colleagues,

Our 2nd Annual Conference is now just around the corner – Saturday, November 15, 2008.  The Activity Committee under the leadership of our colleague Abeer Elahraf has been working hard to make this event exciting, interesting and worthwhile.

We are excited and honored to have as this year’s key note speakers Ms. Fatma Amer, PE, Deputy Commissioner – NYC DOB; Mr. Eli Khoury, Vice President, HNTB; and Mr. Mustafa Gouda, PE, Sr. Vice President, CMX Group.

In addition, as a special feature, we are planning to recognize Governor Corzine and Congressman Bill Pascrell as well as other prominent figures in our community for their efforts in creating the Arab American Heritage Commission - a 25 member commission which will advise on a multitude of cultural issues. The executive order lauds the contributions of Arab-Americans to the state and New Jersey is one of the first states to create such a commission.

The program is going to include a networking session, so remember to bring plenty of business cards!  Entrepreneurs who are members are also welcome to distribute their brochures or newsletters at the registration table.

Seating is limited and registration is required therefore we encourage you to reserve your seat(s) before Wednesday, 12th November.  A three course dinner will be served.

Do not miss this opportunity. Please click here for more details.
